An operation was carried out in Istanbul against 3 suspects who introduced themselves as MIT personnel and committed fraud by creating the impression that they had connections with Justice Minister Akın Gürlek and deputy ministers. It was determined that the suspects received 100 thousand dollars and 100 thousand Turkish Liras from a citizen with the promise of removing his son, who was on trial for murder, from the case file.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau and the Istanbul Gendarmerie Command KOM Branch Directorate conducted an operation against 3 suspects who introduced themselves as MIT officers, gave the impression that they had connections with Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek and deputy ministers, and promised to resolve a citizen's legal problem.
3 PEOPLE DETAINED
It was determined that the suspects received 100 thousand dollars and 100 thousand TL from the complainant, promising to "remove" his son, who was being tried for murder, from the case file. The suspects Süleyman Solgun, Gökhan Hüseyin Sarıcı, and Abdullah Doğan were detained.
