Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, simultaneous operations were carried out in 14 provinces. In the operation against the organization that directed women to illegal reproductive cell trade in connection with Turkey, the TRNC, Albania, and Georgia, legal proceedings were initiated against 53 suspects. While it was determined that 41 Turkish citizen women sold eggs 811 times for material benefit, 36 suspects, including doctors and organization managers, were detained.
