Armed opposition groups that launched operations against the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria have captured Tel Rifat after Aleppo and Idlib. In this context, the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) conducted an operation that drew attention to this point. In the operation carried out by MIT in Tel Rifat, the PKK's regional head for the Shehba area was neutralized.

On Friday, November 27, armed opposition groups that launched an operation against the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria completely took control of Tel Rifaat after Aleppo and Idlib, while the MIT conducted a critical operation in the region.

The MIT neutralized Yaşar Çekik, one of the so-called leaders of the PKK/YPG, which is listed in the red category of the wanted terrorists list, in the Tel Rifaat region of Syria.
