NATIONAL TEAM EXPECTED A PENALTY

The crescent-star team started the game poorly, making several passing mistakes and losing possession. They struggled to make an impact and create chances in the first 45 minutes. In the 29th minute, the national team expected a penalty after Barış Alper Yılmaz was fouled inside the penalty area. The Norwegian referee, Saggi, did not point to the spot. Following this incident, Barış Alper received a yellow card due to the ensuing tension.

WALES' GOAL RULED OFFSIDE

Wales, who dominated the game in the first half, scored a goal in the 37th minute. Thomas, who broke through the defense, found himself one-on-one with Mert and chipped the ball into the net. However, this goal was disallowed due to offside. With no goals in the remaining minutes, the first half ended 0-0.

BARIŞ ALPER RECEIVED A RED CARD

Barış Alper, who received a yellow card due to the tension after the penalty incident in the 29th minute, was shown a second yellow card and sent off in the 62nd minute after fouling his opponent. With 10 men, the national team played with one player less for over half an hour.

The red and whites continued their ineffective performance in the second half as well. The visiting team, Wales, maintained their pressure but failed to capitalize on their opportunities.
