Following the reinstatement of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as the Chairman of the CHP by an absolute nullity decision, the CHP headquarters was evacuated by police intervention. Özgür Özel, who left the building saying 'I am leaving to come back,' began a march towards the Turkish Grand National Assembly accompanied by a large crowd. Clashes occasionally occur between the crowd and the police.
The "evacuation" tension that started at CHP headquarters in the morning hours escalated in the evening. Following the court's evacuation order, police teams intervened and evacuated the party building in line with the instructions given to the Ankara Police Department.
POLICE INTERVENTION WITH PEPPER SPRAY
During the scuffle that followed police teams entering CHP headquarters, pepper spray was used. Many party members were seen affected by the intervention.
While the intense security measures around the headquarters drew attention, a large crowd gathered in front of the party building.
ÖZGÜR ÖZEL TORE UP THE EVACUATION NOTICE
It was reported that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel was on the 12th floor of the headquarters during the events. Özel tore up the evacuation notice delivered to him, saying, "They destroyed the family home for this."
ÖZGÜR ÖZEL LEFT THE BUILDING
Özgür Özel, who was temporarily removed from his position as CHP Chairman by court order, left the headquarters building a short while after the intervention.
Speaking in front of the party building, Özel made the following statements:
"Everyone does what suits them. We do what suits CHP. I am very sad, but we are leaving to reclaim a family home."

After his statement, Özgür Özel was seen starting a march towards the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Many party members and supporters accompanied Özel during the march.
