Özgür Özel spoke about the CHP member mentioned in the 'Newborn gang': He is dishonorable, he is shameless.

CHP Chairman Özel attended the Education Summit organized by his party in the Hasanoğlan district of Elmadağ, Ankara. In his speech here, the CHP leader talked about the investigation regarding the 'Newborn gang' that has become a hot topic in Turkey. Özel made important statements regarding CHP Beylikdüzü Council Member Atilla Yılmaz, who was mentioned in the baby killer gang.

Özgür Özel stated the following regarding the "Newborn gang" investigation:

"You are educating children in the country, but they are not safe. They go to university, but they are not safe. They get married, but they are not safe. They get divorced, but they are not safe. They are being followed. They apply to the police, go to the prosecutor, but they are not safe. Unfortunately, they are born, but they are not safe. Even young people say, 'Can a child be raised under these conditions?' They do not have children; they go and adopt a cat, and that is not even safe. There is nothing safe in the country." Özel, who argues that only capital owners are safe in the country, also stated that the then Istanbul Provincial Health Director, Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu, has responsibility in this incident.

Özel continued as follows:

"IF THERE IS ONE CHP MEMBER, THOSE WHO KEEP THEM IN THE PARTY ARE DISHONEST"

"Unfortunately, we are facing a very big problem. I would like to say a few words responsibly, separating them with a pen, that they are pumping this from the Communication Directorate to the media supporting the government, 'Sir, there is a DEM involved in this. There is a CHP municipal council member involved in this. Friends, if you look hard enough, you will find it. Let me say the last word from the beginning. If there is one Republican People's Party member involved in this, even if they are not directly involved, but 10 kilometers away, those who keep them in the party are dishonest and disgraceful. We are that clear on this issue. When you look at this issue from the perspective of politics, you divide society. Half will join you, half will oppose you. You cannot fight these monsters. They found one CHP member in the big gang, to cover their responsibility and throw it on us.

Just as all of FETÖ's hospitals, schools, tutoring centers, and buildings were nationalized overnight, my brother, there is no need to declare a state of emergency. We are here in this situation. All the private hospitals involved in this should have their licenses suspended today; you are appointing trustees everywhere, those hospitals should be directly appointed trustees by the state, and a legal regulation should be passed unanimously from the Parliament on Tuesday.
