Palestinian Shot, Hurt İn Occupied West Bank: Witnesses

A young Palestinian man was injured on Wednesday after being shot by Israeli troops in the occupied West Bank, eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency.



"Israeli troops opened fire on a Palestinian vehicle near the Gush Etzion Junction north of the city of Hebron [Al-Khalil], injuring at least one Palestinian passenger," one eyewitness said, speaking anonymously due to security concerns.



The injured man, who has yet to be identified, has since been taken to a hospital in Hebron for treatment, the eyewitness added.



The extent of his injury remains unclear.



Neither the Israeli nor the Palestinian authorities have yet to officially comment on the alleged incident. -
