The 34-year-old Patrick van Aanholt, who is a free agent and spent the first half of the season without a team, has found a team after 4.5 months. The experienced footballer signed a contract with Dutch Eredivisie team Sparta Rotterdam until the end of the season. The club announced that there is a one-year option in the contract.
