As the first anniversary of the PKK's dissolution decision approaches, a statement under the name 'Apocu Movement Management' included assessments regarding the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process. The statement featured a call for status for Öcalan, while the continued use of titles belonging to the KCK structure drew attention.

On the anniversary of the PKK terrorist organization's dissolution decision, the organization's leaders shared their views on the process. In the text published under the signature of "Apocu Movement Management," maintaining the titles of the PKK's umbrella structure, the KCK, was among the prominent topics.

"WHEN APO'S STATUS IS DETERMINED..."

The statement brought up the status of Abdullah Öcalan. The text stated, "Apo, who is the primary interlocutor for Turkey's fundamental issue like the Kurdish problem, being in the current position shows that the 100-year problem and its solution are not being approached correctly," and also included evaluations regarding the progress of the process.

In the final part of the statement, it was said, "When Apo's status is determined and he attains conditions to work freely, then we can speak of progress in the process. In that case, the Kurdish people and the democratic public will believe the process is advancing, and support for the process will increase rapidly."

BAHÇELI'S STATEMENT ON STATUS

Meanwhile, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli also made an assessment regarding Öcalan's status in a statement on the same day. Bahçeli stated that discussions on the process must end and said, "To put an end to the discussions, I propose that this be called a 'Peace Process and Politicization Coordinatorship.' But of course, other alternatives can also be produced."
