FIRST ENTERED THE GARDEN, THEN THE BUILDING
It was learned that police teams first entered the garden area of the headquarters using pepper spray, then began entering the building.
While intense activity was taking place around the headquarters, tense moments occasionally occurred between party supporters waiting in front of the party building and police teams.
Supporters who had been locking the doors and keeping watch in front of the building since the morning were seen chanting slogans after the police intervention.
SCUFFLES HAD BROKEN OUT IN THE MORNING
Throughout the day, tensions remained high around the CHP headquarters. After individuals close to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and some members of parliament arrived at the headquarters, scuffles broke out between the parties.
Later, police teams went to the headquarters to deliver an eviction notice but could not enter the building because the doors were closed.
While the CHP administration described the events as an "attempt at forcible takeover," the Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu camp called for the implementation of the court decision.
MURAT EMİR: A COUP AGAINST OUR DEMOCRACY
CHP Deputy Group Chair Murat Emir also described the events in a statement made during the day as an "attempted coup against democracy."
Emir stated, "Our ballot box is being attempted to be stolen. They are trying to forcibly enter our headquarters." Meanwhile, Özgür Özel had claimed early in the morning that there were "mafia-like groups" in front of the headquarters and that some individuals were carrying guns and knives.
CRITICAL WAIT AT HEADQUARTERS
After police teams began entering the building, tensions at the CHP headquarters escalated further. It was learned that Özgür Özel was continuing his wait at the headquarters along with many members of parliament, while party circles were discussing that the course of developments in Ankara was critical.
