Police continued their search at headquarter of Koza İpek Group throughout the night as part of raid against the company which began on early Tuesday.
The officers seized some documents after the search in Ankara’s Yenimahalle district. Some of the police officers left the building at around 5 a. m. some documents. Meanwhile some police units are still waiting at the building.
The Turkish dailies Bugün and Millet, TV stations Bugün TV and Kanaltürk and the website BGNNews.com are all subsidiaries of the Koza İpek media group.
Among the locations raided at about 8 a.m. on Tuesday were İpek University and the headquarters of Koza İpek Holding in Ankara. As part of the operation the police also raided a construction and engineering firm that once built a building on the campus of İpek University. The police seized computers from the company, whose headquarters is close to the university campus.
