Police officer Alev Kovancı, serving in Ordu, lost her life in a traffic accident while heading to her duty station. In the accident that occurred in Perşembe district, Kovancı was seriously injured when her car crashed into barriers, and despite all medical interventions at the hospital she was taken to, she could not be saved.
In the traffic accident that occurred in the Perşembe district, police officer Alev Kovancı, who was on duty at the Ordu Provincial Police Department, lost his life. It was learned that Kovancı, who had set out to go to his duty station, was seriously injured when the car he was driving went out of control and crashed into barriers, and he could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital he was taken to.
LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING AT THE TUNNEL EXIT
The accident occurred at the tunnel exit on the Perşembe-Ordu Highway. The car with license plate 34 DB 0065, driven by Alev Kovancı, who was going to his duty at the Altınordu District Police Department, crashed into barriers after the driver lost control of the steering.
PASSED AWAY IN THE HOSPITAL
Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Seriously injured Kovancı was taken to Perşembe State Hospital by ambulance after the first intervention of the health teams. However, the police officer lost his life despite all interventions made there.
An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
