THE LOWEST MTV HAS BECOME 499 LIRAIn the new year, the lowest Motor Vehicle Tax (MTV) will be 499 lira; the highest will rise to 230 thousand lira. The annual MTV for a vehicle with an engine capacity of less than 1,300, valued at over 455 thousand 300 lira, and aged between 1-3 years will be 5,803 lira. The annual MTV for a vehicle with an engine capacity between 1,300 and 1,600, valued at over 455 thousand lira, and aged between 1-3 years will also rise to 10,112 lira. MTV AMOUNTS TO BE PAID ACCORDING TO VEHICLES;PASSPORT AND DRIVER'S LICENSE FEES HAVE ALSO INCREASEDPassport and driver's license fees will also increase by 43.93 percent in the new year. Class A driver's license fee will rise to 1,883 lira, and Class B driver's license fee will rise to 5,678 lira. TAX BRACKETS HAVE BEEN UPDATEDThe 2025 tax brackets have also been determined. For the first bracket, income up to 158 thousand lira will be taxed at 15%, income up to 330 thousand lira will be taxed at 20%, income up to 800 thousand lira will be taxed at 27%, and income up to 4 million 300 thousand lira will be taxed at 35%. SPECIAL COMMUNICATION TAX HAS INCREASEDThe special communication tax will be 570 lira in 2025.
