President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived at the Independence Palace in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, where the 24th Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit will be held. World leaders gathered here for a group photo.

ERDOGAN AND PUTIN POSE SIDE BY SIDE

Kazakhstan President Kasim Cömert Tokayev welcomed Erdogan and other leaders. After the welcoming ceremony, President Erdogan joined the leaders for a group photo. Erdogan stood next to Turkmenistan's former President and Chairman of the People's Council, Kurbankulu Berdimuhammedov, and Russian President Vladimir Putin in the photo.

President Erdogan met with Mongolian President Khurelsukh as part of his bilateral meetings in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, where the 24th Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit is being held.

MEETING WITH QATARI EMIR AL THANI

President Erdogan also met with Qatari Emir Al Thani as part of his bilateral meetings in Astana. The meeting took place at the hotel where Erdogan stayed and was closed to the press.

ATTENDING "SUSTAINABLE PEACE" SUMMIT

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will also participate in the "SCO+" summit titled "Strengthening Multilateral Dialogue: Striving for Sustainable Peace and Development" in the afternoon.
