We know well the reason behind the opposition's attempts to instill pessimism in our nation.

We ask our citizens for a little more patience and effort. Our only goal is to serve our nation with love. Dear people of Balıkesir, I greet you with my warmest feelings. I send my regards to my Balıkesir brothers and sisters. I pray for God's mercy on those who lost their lives in the Karesi explosion and wish patience to their families. Immediate judicial and administrative investigations were initiated regarding the incident. Our ministers came to our city to share the pain of the families. Some of our cabinet members and our deputies were here yesterday. We will also visit some of our brothers to express our condolences. Today, we visited 2 families and shared their sorrows.

"LET THEM ACCOUNT FOR THE 29 WORKERS"

Our families are behaving with great composure. The investigation to uncover the cause of the explosion is being conducted in a multi-faceted and meticulous manner. Initially, 10 people were detained. If there are any mistakes or faults, necessary actions will definitely be taken regarding them. Our families who have lost loved ones, our Balıkesir brothers and sisters should not have any doubts. We all mourned the loss of life in the explosion, which was 85. Before the funerals were even held, the CHP chairman made unfortunate statements without knowing how the incident occurred. To divert the event, which the state is mobilizing for, to different places is to exploit the pain, which is neither legal nor moral nor ethical. Let them account for the 29 workers who lost their lives in the fire in Beşiktaş Gayrettepe. They should not drag us into their conscience-less politics. Competing in pain is not our politics. We have not resorted to such an immoral path, and we will not.

I also remember our brother Hüseyin Murat Uysal with mercy. I express my gratitude to my brothers who have served in the AK Party in Balıkesir since its establishment. It has been a privilege for this cadre to serve our nation for 22 years in the 102-year history of our Republic. The works we have brought to our country during this period and the marks we have left are far greater than those of previous periods. As AK Party governments, we have faced obstacles and threats like during the Menderes era. We have faced countless heavy challenges. With the support we received from our nation, we managed to thwart these insidious operations one by one. We left the ambitions of many centers of hostility unfulfilled. We faced serious difficulties. We have seen that no trap or attack has yielded results against the destiny line granted by God.

Today, we are going through tests where we will either be grateful to some or be patient with others. The 61-year Baath oppression ended with the revolution initiated and brought to victory by the Syrian people. We had 3.6 million brothers and sisters whom we hosted. We have faced many immoral and heartless attacks. During May 14-28, even Hitler-esque envious individuals targeted these oppressed people. We stood against all these shameless assaults. The whole world knows that Turkey is a key country, but when the USA says it, the CHP chairman goes into a panic. If you ask, they are independence advocates, but weren't you and your coalition partners the ones going door to door in the USA, saying we will get praise from Europe? They will definitely be held accountable before history and the nation. As the AK Party, our duty is to produce alternatives and understand the sentiments of society. We attach great importance to our congresses. We have raised the bar in politics and improved the conditions of competition.

The transition to the presidential government system is the most concrete and striking example of this. We listen to the complaints of our people.
