In a speech at the BRICS Summit held in the Republic of Tatarstan, which is affiliated with Russia, President Erdoğan stated, "The attack on TUSAŞ is a despicable act. This attack has reinforced our determination against terrorism."

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the BRICS Leaders Summit. Addressing the leaders, Erdoğan conveyed a message of determination in the fight against terrorism.

The leaders of BRICS member countries gathered in Kazan, Russia, along with representatives from invited countries and international organizations. President Erdoğan, who attended the meeting, participated in a family photo session with the leaders attending the summit.

HE MET WITH PUTIN

As part of his engagements at the BRICS Summit, Erdoğan met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The meeting at Kazan EXPO lasted approximately 1 hour. Following that, President Erdoğan delivered a speech as part of the summit.

Highlights from President Erdoğan's statements:

"I thank my dear friend, President of the Russian Federation, Mr. Vladimir Putin, for his hospitality and invitations, and I congratulate him for the successful hosting. I wish success in advance to our Brazilian friends who will assume the presidency starting in January.

I thank all our friends who expressed their condolences due to the treacherous terrorist act carried out in Ankara yesterday for their solidarity. This despicable attack has further reinforced Turkey's determination and resolve to eliminate terrorism."

"WE ARE FACING CHALLENGES THAT ARE FELT IN EVERY FIELD"

We are facing serious challenges that are felt in every field, from the economy to security, from global injustices to climate change. Therefore, we find the theme of strengthening multilateralism for fair global development and security determined for the summit to be extraordinarily accurate. I would like to delicately emphasize this point. In today's conditions, where socioeconomic vulnerabilities are increasing and power balances are changing, the political and financial mechanisms that are products of the post-World War II era are not delivering what is expected of them."
