President of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş attended the mass wedding program organized within the framework of the "Be a Hope for Adıyaman" project, which was implemented under the auspices of the Adıyaman Governorship as part of the protocol signed between the Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Mehir Foundation.
100 COUPLES GOT MARRIED
In a wedding hall in the city, 100 couples were married, and Erbaş was a witness for two couples. Erbaş personally delivered the marriage certificates and prayed for the young couples.
"MARRYING 10 ORPHANS IS MORE VIRTUOUS THAN BUILDING A MOSQUE"
Emphasizing the importance of the family concept, Erbaş stated, "The family is the fundamental pillar of society. Today, we are witnessing the establishment of 100 new families together. How fortunate are our brothers and sisters from Adıyaman. How fortunate are those who are a means to this goodness."
Recalling the verse that commands the marriage of singles, Erbaş said, "If I say that marrying one orphan, two orphans, or 10 orphans is more virtuous than building a mosque, I am not exaggerating. We should help our young people get married by facilitating rather than making it difficult. We should contribute to the timely marriage of young people. Our Lord gives us this duty. Facilitating the marriage of young people is a common responsibility for all of us as a nation."
"LET'S NOT HINDER OUR YOUNG PEOPLE'S MARRIAGES"
Stating that loyalty, love, and patience are fundamental values in marriage, Erbaş addressed families, saying, "Let’s not hinder our young people's marriages, let’s open their paths. Families established in due time are built on solid foundations. Family peace is the peace of society."
"WE WILL HOLD A SPECIAL WEDDING PROGRAM AT THE PRESIDENTIAL COMPLEX"
Erbaş stated that the final of the mass wedding programs to be held across Turkey this year will take place at the Presidential Complex, saying, "We will invite one couple from each of our provinces to Ankara. Together with our Presidency of Religious Affairs and Mehir Foundation, we will hold a special wedding program at the Complex."
