During the budget discussions, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya addressed the General Assembly, and during his speech at the podium, CHP and DEM Party Members of Parliament protested the appointment of trustees by holding up banners. The CHP and DEM MPs carried banners that read, "Trustees are an assault on the will of the people."

In the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the budget discussions of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the Ministry of Interior, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry are ongoing.
