The statement included the following: "Considering that various unlawful actions and events may be organized by groups affiliated with the terrorist organization to disrupt the peace and security environment provided throughout the province, in order to ensure peace and security, personal inviolability, safety related to property, and public welfare within the borders of our province, events deemed appropriate by the Governorship and district governorships, as well as games, performances, and various forms of shows and events within the scope of Article 1 of the Annex of Law No. 2559 on Police Duties and Powers, except for the commercial activities of private legal entities with commercial identities, will be limited to the assignments made only in the provinces of Batman, Mardin, and Şanlıurfa, and all possible (press statements, gatherings, marches, hunger strikes, sit-ins, rallies, setting up stands, tenting, distributing leaflets and brochures, hanging posters and banners, and similar actions and events) demonstrations and events within our province center and outer districts (within the provincial administrative borders) are prohibited from entering and exiting the borders of our province from November 4 at 13:00 to November 6 at 23:59, based on Article 11/C of Law No. 5442 on Provincial Administration and Articles 17 and 19 of Law No. 2911 on Meetings and Demonstrations." 10-DAY BAN IN ŞANLIURFAAll outdoor events in Şanlıurfa have been banned for 10 days. The Şanlıurfa Governorship announced that starting today, a ban has been imposed on all outdoor events across the province, except for those deemed appropriate. In the statement made by the governorship, it was stated, "All possible outdoor events (gatherings, marches, press statements, hunger strikes, sit-ins, rallies, setting up stands, tenting, distributing leaflets/brochures, hanging posters/banners, etc.) that may be organized by the Governorship and district governorships, and games, performances, and various forms of shows and events within the scope of Article 1 of the Annex of Law No. 2559 on Police Duties and Powers, except for the commercial activities of private legal entities with commercial identities, will be prohibited for 10 days from November 4, 2024, at 09:00 to November 13, 2024, at 23:59, including the city center and our districts, within the geographical borders of Şanlıurfa," it was stated.
