Russia continues its intense attacks on Ukraine. Mayor Igor Terekhov announced that a major missile attack was carried out this morning on the city of Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine. A series of explosion sounds were heard, and there are still ballistic missiles heading towards the city." The regional governor emphasized that there have been 7 attacks so far, and the casualties are still being assessed. Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko stated, "Russia is carrying out an intense attack on our energy facilities." CURRENT SITUATION IN THE REGIONThe Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its forces shot down 59 Ukrainian drones overnight, while the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from the Black Sea.
