Rabobank, known as the largest agricultural bank in Europe, has decided to end its operations in Turkey. Following this decision, Rönesans Holding has signed a share transfer agreement to acquire Rabobank. According to the agreement between Rönesans Holding and Rabobank International Holding B.V., all shares of Rabobank A.Ş. will be transferred to Rönesans Holding after regulatory approvals are completed. Prof. Dr. Babuşçu said, "Rabobank, Europe's largest agricultural bank, is withdrawing from Turkey. Rönesans Holding has signed a share transfer agreement to acquire Rabobank. According to the agreement between Rönesans Holding and Rabobank International Holding B.V., all shares of Rabobank A.Ş., which has been serving large-scale corporate customers in Turkey since 2014, will belong to Rönesans Holding after regulatory approvals are completed."
