CHP Ayvalık District Chairman Hüseyin Şalmanlı, through his lawyer, filed a request for a disciplinary investigation and a definitive expulsion decision regarding Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.
APPLICATION MADE FOR KILIÇDAROĞLU
The application emphasized that the CHP Bylaws and Disciplinary Regulations are binding for all party members and bodies, stating that no authority is above the party bylaws and disciplinary provisions. The petition expressed that Kılıçdaroğlu should be examined under disciplinary law due to practices neutralizing the will of party organizations, the de facto non-implementation of bylaw provisions, statements that damage the party in public, and decisions inconsistent with party principles.
In Şalmanlı's application, it was stated, "The fundamental purpose of party law is to protect the institutional structure, not individuals," and it requested that an investigation be opened within the scope of the CHP Bylaws and Disciplinary Regulations, and that necessary disciplinary sanctions be applied according to the nature of the actions.
"WE COMPLAIN TO THE DISCIPLINARY BOARD"
CHP Ayvalık District Chairman Hüseyin Şalmanlı, making statements with his lawyer Muharrem Saygı, said, "We never accept this unlawfulness committed against our party and our party's chairman. We also complain to the disciplinary board about Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was elected through 'absolute nullity' because he caused division within our party."
The petition was sent to the Ayvalık District Election Board.
