The Israeli Army announced that Major General Yadai resigned from his position due to "personal reasons". It was stated that the Chief of the General Staff of Israel, General Herzi Halevi, and the Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, approved Yadai's resignation request.
WILL SUBMIT HIS CANDIDACY FOR "IMPORTANT POSITIONS" IN THE ARMY
It is expected that Tamir Yadai will leave his post in the coming weeks when a new commander is found to replace him. It is not yet known who will replace him. The Israeli army added that Yadai will temporarily leave this duty and later submit his candidacy for "important positions" in the army.
