Response from Soylu to Private's "mafia" accusation: First, you tell me how your foot and nose got broken.

Response from Soylu to Private's

18.09.2024 08:50

CHP leader Özgür Özel, without naming anyone, targeted former Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu regarding the opening of the way for mafia organizations in his speech in Balıkesir. Soylu, in response to Özel, used the expression "First, tell us how your leg got broken or how your nose got broken before."

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel indirectly targeted former Minister of Interior and AK Party Istanbul Deputy Süleyman Soylu in a speech he made in Balıkesir.

Özel stated, "There is a system in this country where those who open the way for mafia organizations, establish relationships, and join hands with them serve as the Minister of Interior, then become the Chairman of the Interior Commission, and still allow criminal organizations to thrive. It is you who will change this system, and we trust you. As the CHP, we will make all of you smile from now on."

SOYLU: LOWERING THE CHP CHAIRMANSHIP TO YOUR LEVEL

Former Minister of Interior and AK Party Istanbul Deputy Süleyman Soylu made a statement on social media following Özel's remarks. Soylu used the following expressions in his statement:

"Only such a slander would be suitable for CHP Chairman Özgür Özel on the anniversary of Adnan Menderes' execution, which was carried out with systematic slanders by the CHP. First, tell us how your leg was broken. Or tell us how your nose was broken before. Then tell us how you vouched for terrorist Selçuk Kozağaçlı, who is a convicted member of the DHKP-C terrorist organization and who killed Prosecutor Selim Kiraz, and how you describe your killer friend... It is shameful to lower the CHP Chairmanship to your level..."
