In the statement, it was reported that the allegations regarding the foreign live animal and carcass procurement activities carried out by the institution within the scope of market regulations are unfounded and do not reflect the truth. The statement reminded that these allegations came to the agenda on November 8, 2023, and were clearly stated to be "untrue" in the published public statement, and it was noted: "The Meat and Milk Institution, in its duty to regulate the red meat markets, resorts to foreign trade measures in a balanced manner in proportion to market needs to prevent periodic manipulative price increases in the red meat markets."
