In the Melikgazi district of Kayseri, the harassment of a 5-year-old girl, who is a relative of a Syrian individual, turned the city into a fire scene. In the investigation launched regarding the incidents where a large group set fire to businesses and vehicles in the city, 67 people were detained, while President Erdogan blamed the opposition in his speech today regarding the incidents. PRESIDENT ERDOGAN BLAMES THE OPPOSITIONIn his statements at the AK Party Local Governments Consultation and Evaluation Meeting, President Erdogan said, "The reason for the incident caused by a small group in Kayseri yesterday is the poisonous rhetoric of the opposition. Vandalism and setting streets on fire are unacceptable. We have never been like this and we will never be. Discrimination and marginalization have no place in AK Party politics, and will not have. We are not after undermining anyone. Politics is about preventing wrong and empowering what is right. It is not fitting for us to hinder those who serve the people." RESPONSE FROM OZEL TO ERDOGAN WAS NOT DELAYEDCHP Chairman Ozgur Ozel responded to President Erdogan's harsh words minutes later. Answering journalists' questions in Aydin Kusadasi, which was affected by the fire, Ozel said, "I don't know which opposition he is referring to. It is clear that the CHP cannot be subject to such an accusation. Whoever he is talking to, let him get his answer from them." "WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SO MANY REFUGEES COMING"Regarding the incidents that occurred yesterday and the refugee problem in Turkey, Ozel said, "If there is a problem with so many refugees coming, what does he say? 'I am responsible for everything...' Then you are also responsible for this. If you incite a civil war in your neighbor, you will also bring so many refugees upon this country. Who is responsible for so many refugees coming?"
