Rıdvan Dilmen predicted the top 4 positions of the Super League.

Former football player and commentator Rıdvan Dilmen evaluated the matches of the week in the Süper Lig. He once again touched upon the playoff issue he mentioned the other day and also made his predictions for the top 4 positions in the Süper Lig.

Speaking on HT Sports, Rıdvan Dilmen had mentioned the playoffs in the previous program, stating, "I have never seen such a gap in Turkish football. We are heading towards the playoffs at full speed. If it continues like this, that's where it's going. I hate the playoffs, but they exist in mediocre leagues in Europe," he had said.

Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Vice President İbrahim Hatipoğlu commented on the issue, saying, "The playoff system is a very misplaced agenda. Turkish football does not have such an agenda. When we look at the leagues that have playoffs, none of them are among Europe's major leagues. It is a system applied in a few countries where the number of teams is low and the balances are different. Are we going to take the five major leagues in Europe as an example, or smaller leagues?"

Rıdvan Dilmen spoke once again about the playoff system in last night's program.

In response to Hatipoğlu's remarks, Dilmen made another statement, saying, "I hate the playoffs; they belong to weak leagues, but unfortunately, our league is very weak. I don't want it. Even if I were in charge, I wouldn't want it, but unfortunately, it's heading that way. The gap in the league has increased significantly. You can't become a champion with 99 points. Will we see something like this again? It seems we will."

At the end of the season in the Süper Lig, Rıdvan Dilmen also made his predictions for the top 4 positions, stating, "Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, Beşiktaş. Is the top 3 clear? The top 3 is clear before the end of September. I think the 4th is also clear, Trabzonspor. This is not a miraculous prediction either."
