Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, who left his mark on the season with the Trabzonspor jersey, almost split the fans of his former club Liverpool in two with his outstanding performance. The bottleneck in the English side's attacking line sparked a huge debate when compared with the scoring contribution Salah produced for the claret-blue team.
ON HIS OWN, HE SCORED AS MANY GOALS AS LIVERPOOL
Liverpool, who last lost 3-0 to Manchester City in the Premier League, managed to score only 7 goals in the first 6 weeks of the league. In the same period, Mohamed Salah, who worked wonders in the Trabzonspor jersey, made a tremendous contribution with 7 goals and 3 assists by directly affecting the score for the claret-blue team.
''SALAH'S PLACE COULD NOT BE FILLED''
The Egyptian star reaching Liverpool's total goal tally on his own brought criticism among English fans that Salah's place could not be filled.
