Stuttgart head coach Sebastian Hoeness, whose team lost 2-0 to Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League, criticized Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk's comments about monitoring Stuttgart players Demirovic and El Khannouss for a transfer, saying it is not right to speak about players under contract with other teams.

In the UEFA Champions League, Stuttgart, who lost 2-0 to Galatasaray, saw head coach Sebastian Hoeness react to the statements of the yellow-reds' coach Okan Buruk. Speaking to German newspaper Bild, Hoeness criticized Buruk's remarks about his players.

''IT IS NOT RIGHT TO TALK ABOUT ANOTHER TEAM'S PLAYER''

Speaking after Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk stated that Ermedin Demirovic and Bilal El Khannouss, who wear the Stuttgart shirt, were being monitored for the upcoming transfer window, Hoeness said, "I am not afraid of anything in football, and I have no concern for either of my players. I see and feel every day how happy they are at Stuttgart. I met Okan Buruk, and he left me with a very likable impression, but I do not find it right for a head coach to speak so openly about contracted players of other teams. I do not make public statements about players I am following or considering adding to my squad. I think that is not a very correct approach."

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

Before Stuttgart head coach Sebastian Hoeness's reaction, Okan Buruk, while praising Stuttgart's squad and coaching staff at a press conference, had stated that they were clearly following the German team's two star players. In his remarks, Okan Buruk had said, "Stuttgart have very good players and a very good coach. We are watching Demirovic and El Khannouss for the new transfer window."
