The parties announced that they would meet again on April 19. It was announced that the second round of negotiations, previously stated to be held in Oman, would take place in the capital of Italy, Rome.
The negotiations are being conducted at the Omani Embassy in Rome, facilitated by Oman's Foreign Minister Bedr al-Busaidi. The Iranian delegation is headed by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, while the USA is represented by Trump's Special Representative for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff.
