Within the scope of the 'Alihan Kuriş Criminal Organization' investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a second wave operation was carried out in Istanbul, Konya, Mersin, and Muğla. Of the 13 suspects, 12 were detained.
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is deepening the investigation into the 'Alihan Kuriş Criminal Organization.' Following new evidence obtained within the scope of the investigation and technical determinations made, a second wave of operations was carried out at numerous addresses.
SIMULTANEOUS RAIDS IN 4 PROVINCES
Security forces, acting on the instructions of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, conducted simultaneous raids on addresses determined in the provinces of Istanbul, Konya, Mersin, and Muğla. Within the scope of the operation, 12 of the 13 suspects against whom proceedings were initiated were caught and taken into custody.

In the official statement made by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the operation, the following expressions were included: "Following the first wave operation carried out on August 13, 2026, a second wave operation was carried out in line with the new evidence and determinations obtained by deepening the investigation. Within the scope of the work carried out in Istanbul, Konya, Mersin, and Muğla, proceedings were initiated against 13 suspects, and 12 suspects were caught. Efforts to catch the 1 suspect continue."
