According to the allegations in Danişmentgazi Neighborhood, a foreign national was caught molesting a 5-year-old foreign national child. After the incident, a large crowd gathered and caused disturbances to take the person. The suspect was taken to the police station by the special operations police. In Danişmentgazi, Osmanlı, and Selçuklu neighborhoods, large groups set fire to vehicles, workplaces, and residences belonging to foreign nationals.

10 POLICE OFFICERS INJURED DURING THE INCIDENTS

Water cannon vehicles and fire brigade teams continue to intervene in the fires that broke out in the city. Meanwhile, the Provincial Police Department has increased security measures throughout the city. Entry and exit to the neighborhoods are controlled. In addition, 10 police officers who were injured in the incidents were taken to hospitals for treatment.
