RESCUED AFTER 91 HOURS UNDER THE RUBBLE

Ayda, who lost her mother Fidan Keskin Gezgin in the collapse of Rıza Bey Apartment in the earthquake on October 30, 2020 in Izmir, continues her life with her father Uğur Gezgin and her 13-year-old brother Atakan Gezgin, who were rescued after 91 hours of search and rescue team's work. Ayda, who went to kindergarten for 3 years, started primary school. Ayda, who started her education at a private school in Bornova, was not left alone by her father Uğur Gezgin and her brother Atakan Gezgin on her first day.

LITTLE AYDA CAN'T FORGET HER MOTHER

Father Uğur Gezgin said he was excited because his daughter started primary school. Father Gezgin, who reminded that Ayda continues to receive psychological support, said, "Everything is fine. She misses her mother. We remember her mother with photos and videos. We sometimes go to my wife's grave together. My daughter doesn't forget her mother."

Gezgin said that there was a 3-day orientation process at school last week, and Ayda met her new teachers and friends. Father Gezgin thanked everyone who was with his family after the Izmir earthquake.
