Seray Sever, one of the commentators on the "Let's Talk" program, shared a striking claim about famous artist Yıldız Tilbe live on air. Sever recounted the harsh reaction Tilbe showed when she learned about the millions of lira she had forgotten in the bank and that had been deposited at interest without her knowledge, as well as what she did afterward.
SAYING "YOU ARE LEADING ME INTO SIN"...
According to the information Seray Sever provided, a bank employee converted the millions of lira sitting in Yıldız Tilbe's account into an interest-bearing deposit without Tilbe's knowledge. When the famous artist learned of the situation, she refused the interest income and reacted to the banker. Sever described what happened in these words: "She is against interest; there is money she forgot in banks, and we are talking about millions. Her banker put the money into interest without Yıldız's knowledge. Then, when she is told, she gets angry, saying 'I won't take the money, you are leading me into sin.' That money is then taken out in sacks; she prepares them herself. She distributes the sacks to those in need herself."
