The account of a woman traveling standing up with her child on public transport drew attention. The woman stated that a stranger on the minibus offered to take her child onto his lap, and she said this approach made her uncomfortable.
In the video she shared, the woman spoke about an offer made to her while she was traveling standing on a minibus with her child. Describing that a person she did not know said, "If you want, your child can sit on my lap," the woman stated that such an offer was not acceptable to her.
Questioning why it should be considered normal for her child to sit on the lap of someone she does not know, the woman noted that she had encountered similar situations before.
The woman expressed her reaction with these words: "What kind of logic is it that people still say in a minibus, 'Your child can sit on my lap'?"
"WHY SHOULD MY CHILD SIT ON THE LAP OF SOMEONE THEY DON'T KNOW?"
Continuing to describe what happened to her, the woman said she was surprised by the offer and used the following statements:
"Today someone said, 'If you want, your child can sit on my lap.' Brother, no way! Why should my child sit on the lap of someone they don't know?"
The woman, who argued that a person wanting to help a child could behave differently, said, "If you want to do a good deed so much, get up and give your seat."
