The 6-month-old DREAME brand robot vacuum purchased from Teknosa was not fixed despite being sent to service three times for the same fault and returned with the statement "the problem has been resolved"; the consumer reacted to the rejection of their return and exchange request.
The 6-month-old DREAME brand robot vacuum purchased from Teknosa was blocked by the authorized service and seller, even though it repeated the same fault over and over. While the malfunction of the device, which was sent to service 3 times for the same problem and each time returned with the response “the problem has been solved,” continues, the consumer’s refund and replacement requests were also rejected.
“WE WERE PUT OFF EVERY TIME, OUR VICTIMIZATION CONTINUES”
The follower who voiced the grievance stated that the newly purchased device constantly bumps into things around it and loses its function, and that they also documented these moments with video. Emphasizing that they did not leave a single door unknocked for the return of the product or its replacement with a different brand, the aggrieved consumer expressed their reaction in the following words:
“Our 6-month-old DREAME brand robot vacuum, which we bought from Teknosa, went to service 3 times for the same problem even though it is new. Each time it was sent back to us from the service with the statement ‘The problem has been solved,’ but the problem still continues. The device constantly bumps into things around it. I also have videos regarding this. Even though the same problem has been repeated 3 times, our refund and replacement request is not being met. We are constantly being put off with different excuses and our victimization continues. We no longer want to use the faulty device. We request that Teknosa take back the product and refund the price to us, or that it be replaced with a new, problem-free robot vacuum of a different brand.”
WHAT DO CONSUMER RIGHTS SAY?
According to the Consumer Protection Law, if the same malfunction recurs more than once within the warranty period or no result can be obtained from the service, the consumer has the right to choose one of the rights to a refund, free repair, or replacement with a defect-free equivalent. It has been learned that, in the face of this situation, the aggrieved customer is preparing to apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee against Teknosa.
