Shocking claim in the case of Missing Narin: Confessions of a secret witness can change everything.

An individual who is claimed to be a secret witness has been placed under protection in relation to the missing Narin Güran case in Diyarbakır, and it is alleged that the course of the investigation will change with the information provided to the police and gendarmerie.

NARIN HAS BEEN MISSING FOR 18 DAYS

Narin Güran, 8 years old, went missing on August 21 in Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district in Diyarbakır. Despite the search efforts led by the police and gendarmerie, no results have been obtained so far.

ALL EYES ON THE CONFESSIONS OF THE SECRET WITNESS

While the teams continue their meticulous search, a striking claim has been made. Journalist Özlem Gürses claimed that there is a secret witness in the investigation who has been placed under protection. Gürses stated, "They have put a secret witness in the witness protection program, an informant. This informant is currently providing guidance. In this context, the gendarmerie and police have restarted the search operations.".

TEAMS HAVE BEEN DIVIDED INTO TWO

The search teams for Narin have been divided into two... One team is investigating the period before 15:15 on August 21, the day Narin went missing, while the other team is investigating the period after. The reports received in the region are being evaluated immediately.

UNDERGROUND SEARCH CONDUCTED WITH GROUND PENETRATING RADAR

As part of the investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, search operations were carried out in the cemetery in the neighborhood with the ground penetrating radar under the supervision of the gendarmerie. In the scope of the operations, vehicles entering and leaving the neighborhood are being searched and recorded.

NARIN'S BROTHER WAS THE FIRST TO BE DETAINED

The first person to be detained in connection with the disappearance of 8-year-old Narin was her brother. However, the brother was released. The 18-year-old brother was detained due to bite marks on his arm. Jaw structure samples obtained from photos of Narin were sent to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute for comparison. However, no evidence was obtained regarding the ownership of the bite mark. Therefore, the brother was released.

UNCLE ARRESTED

On the 11th day of the search for missing Narin, news of a new detention came. Narin's uncle, who is also the muhtar (village head) of Tavşantepe neighborhood, Salim Güran, was detained. Salim Güran was arrested in court. The reason for the arrest was cited as deprivation of liberty and intentional killing. Salim Güran's lawyer reacted to the decision.

WHY WAS HE ARRESTED?

Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç commented on the arrest of Uncle Salim Güran, saying, "All state institutions have mobilized. Statements are being taken, and arrests are being made based on those statements. There are DNA tests. The arrest warrant was issued due to the match between the DNA of Narin's parents and the uncle's DNA found in the car."
