It is claimed that there are cold winds blowing between Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş and Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, the two possible candidates of the opposition in the presidential elections. It is alleged that Yavaş called İmamoğlu before the March 31 elections and said, "There are some accounts on social media using expressions against me, stop these accounts," but when he received the response "These accounts have nothing to do with us," he got angry and hung up the phone.

The claim that cold winds blew between Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, the two prominent candidates in the presidential elections, has stirred up the Ankara political circles without disturbing their current HTML.

It is claimed that tension arose between the two figures before the local elections on March 31, and journalist Altan Sancar first brought up the development in a live broadcast.

"THEY USE STATEMENTS DIRECTED AT ME"

Describing the incident that took place during the live broadcast, Sancar said, "Before the local elections, Mansur Yavaş called Ekrem İmamoğlu and said, 'There are some accounts on social media using statements directed at me, please stop these accounts.' İmamoğlu responded, 'These accounts have nothing to do with us.' Unsatisfied with this response, Yavaş said, 'I kindly request you to stop them,' and hung up the phone on İmamoğlu's face."
