STATEMENT FROM TOUR COMPANY THAT DREW REACTION: RESPONSIBILITY IS NOT OURS

After the massacre-like accident, a written statement came from My World Turizm, the company that undertook the tour organization. The company, which wished mercy for those who lost their lives, rejected corporate responsibility for the accident and placed the blame entirely on the vehicle driver.

The public announcement made by the company included the following statements:

"The tour organization in question does not belong to our company. The vehicle operates on a rental basis within our other department, Transport Taşımacılık, and only transportation service was provided for the relevant organization. The vehicle and driver had been resting for the 5 days before the accident. We believe the accident was caused entirely by an individual error. All relevant information and documents have been submitted to the judicial units of our state."

The extensive judicial investigation launched by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the accident is ongoing.
