A sexual assault incident in Telford, Shropshire, England has caused concern in the area. According to police reports, a 19-year-old woman was sexually assaulted on May 28 between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM near the underpass around Laburnum Road and Stafford Road in the Oakengates area.
Authorities reported that the assault was carried out by a male suspect whose identity has not yet been determined.
VICTIM RESISTED AND ESCAPED
According to information provided by the police, the young woman managed to resist the attacker and escape the scene. It was stated that the suspect later fled the area towards Trench. Police described the attacker as a white male, approximately 1.75 meters tall, and of medium build.
TWO SUSPECTS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Two individuals, aged 23 and 33, were taken into custody as part of the investigation. However, both suspects were later released on bail. Authorities stated that the investigation is ongoing and all gathered information is being carefully evaluated.

Detective Inspector Danielle Logan, who is leading the investigation, stated that the incident may have caused concern in the area and that police teams are continuing their work.
Logan said, 'We know that such an incident can cause anxiety in the community. However, I want to assure the public that the investigation is ongoing. Our teams continue to patrol the area. We ask anyone with information about the incident to contact the police.'

West Mercia Police appealed to individuals who were in the area at the time of the incident or have information that could assist the investigation.
