Shocking new confessions from the secret witness: Narin's uncle offered me 200,000 TL to hide the body.

The lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing in Diyarbakır, was laid to rest in her village today, while the investigation process continues with the detention of 24 individuals.

The first confession regarding Narin's murder came from a suspect who was taken into custody. The suspect, who was arrested after it was determined that he went to the riverbank with his vehicle, said during interrogation, "The village head (Narin's uncle) gave me the body in a sack. I took the sack and brought it to the river." The secret witness also stated that the uncle offered him 200,000 TL to get rid of the body.

"HE SAID, 'I'LL GIVE YOU 200,000 LIRA'"

The new statements of the secret witness are as follows: "He says that he met Salim Gürhan on the inner road of Akkedüşeli Village, which leads from the cemetery to Tavşantepe Neighborhood. He says that he waited, thinking that he would say something about drinking water. Then, the village head got out of his car and came to me. I also got out of the car. Then, he showed me something wrapped in a blanket and said, 'You will destroy this.' When I approached what he showed me, I saw that there was a motionless person lying inside the blanket. I was surprised and hesitated when I saw that it was a person, Salim Gürhan. He said to me, 'Address me, think about your family well. I'll give you 200,000 lira.' Of course, there was no one around us at that time.

"THERE WAS REDNESS BEHIND HIS RIGHT EAR, IN THE NECK AREA"

Then, he asked me if there was a bag in my car. I took out a sack whose color I couldn't remember from the trunk of the car and gave it to Salim. We put the child wrapped in the blanket into the sack together. At that time, the child was wearing a black t-shirt and shorts. He had a small bag hanging on him. He said in his statement, 'There was redness behind his right ear, in the neck area.' Then, his statement continues, of course.

He also describes what happened to the clothes that the village head was wearing. After we placed the child in the sack, I put the sack without tying its mouth into the back seat of my car where the foot mat was. He pointed there and said, 'Take it to the lake,' referring to Eğritutmaz Stream, which we call 'the lake.' When I left, I didn't look at what Salim Gürhan was doing. I directly went from the side of the cemetery towards the villas area. While I was on the road, I regretted it, but I thought that I needed to get rid of the things I took. I went down the stabilized road next to the stream and looked for a suitable place. I stopped my car by the edge of the stream. I took the sack out of my car and held it in my hand. The child's whole body fit into the sack.

"THE SIZE OF THE STONE WAS AROUND 15-20 KILOS"

I don't remember if the child's foot was cut or not because I was very anxious. On September 8th, I went down to the place where Narin Gürhan was found and looked for a rope. When I couldn't find a rope, I remembered the rope of the child's bag. I untied the rope of the bag and tied the mouth of the sack. I found a place near a tree that was not very deep. There was some water here. I put the sack in the water up to its neck. I put a stone on top of the sack, thinking that someone would find it. The size of the stone was around 15-20 kilos. There were also stones next to it. I didn't put any bushes on top because it was already covered. Then, I left from there and got into my car. After I left the stabilized road, I went to my sister-in-law's house," he said.
