THERE ARE 2 MILLION 920 THOUSAND 119 SYRIANS IN TURKEYAs of today, Minister Yerlikaya stated that the number of foreigners with legal residence rights in Turkey is 4 million 164 thousand 472, of which 2 million 920 thousand 119 are Syrians under temporary protection. MORE THAN 25 THOUSAND SYRIANS RETURNED IN 15 DAYSMinister Yerlikaya stated that since 2017, 763 thousand 443 Syrians have returned to their country voluntarily, safely, honorably, and in an orderly manner. Yerlikaya noted that the number of those returning to Syria in the last 15 days has exceeded 25 thousand, indicating that this number has increased sevenfold. SAME DAY APPOINTMENT FOR SYRIANS RETURNINGInterior Minister Yerlikaya mentioned that Syrians wishing to return to their country can apply through the website of the Directorate General of Migration Management, and appointments are given on the same day.
