38 SOLDIERS COMMITTED SUICIDE IN TWO YEARS

According to the announced data, a total of 17 soldiers took their own lives in 2023, starting from October 7, when the attacks on Gaza began, and 21 soldiers in 2024. It was recorded that there were 14 suicide cases in the army in 2022 and 11 in 2021.

2023-2024, THE PERIOD WITH THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF CASUALTIES

Due to the conflicts in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, 2023 and 2024 have been the periods with the highest number of casualties in recent years. In a statement made by the IDF, it was expressed that a total of 558 soldiers were killed in 2023, including 512 during operations.
