Elif Akyüz, the aunt of 2-year-old Sıla, who lost her life due to sexual abuse in Tekirdağ, died after falling from the balcony of their home. Before her death, Akyüz had filed a lawsuit to gain custody of Sıla and her 5-year-old sister.
Elif Akyüz, the aunt of 2-year-old Sıla, who lost her life due to sexual abuse and assault in Tekirdağ, fell from the balcony of their apartment on the 3rd floor and died.
FELL FROM THE BALCONY
Elif Akyüz, residing in the Altınova neighborhood of Süleymanpaşa district, fell to the ground from the balcony of their apartment on the 3rd floor of a 5-story building for an undetermined reason.
DIED
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon receiving a report of a fall from height. Medical teams determined that Elif Akyüz had died at the scene.
Akyüz's body was taken to the Tekirdağ Forensic Medicine Institution for an autopsy after the examination. An investigation has been launched regarding Elif Akyüz's death.
WHAT HAPPENED?
2-year-old Sıla Y, who was hospitalized on September 8 due to sexual abuse and assault in Tekirdağ, lost her life on October 7 in the intensive care unit where she was being treated at Tekirdağ Dr. İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu City Hospital.
Aunt Elif Akyüz had filed a lawsuit at the Tekirdağ 4th Family Court to gain custody of Sıla and her 5-year-old sister before the baby passed away.
