New details have emerged in the case of sexual abuse and violence against 2-year-old Sıla Y. in the Malkara district of Tekirdağ. It has been learned that the condition of baby Sıla Y. remains serious while the detention of 5 people, including mother Bakiye Y., continues.
ASSISTANCE PROVIDED BY THE MINISTRY TO THE MOTHER
According to the information obtained, Bakiye Y., who was released from prison about 2.5 months ago, had previously received support from various departments of the Tekirdağ Directorate of Family and Social Services, including cash assistance, and it was also revealed that separate support was provided to her 5-year-old daughter A.Y., who was taken under protection after the incident.
MOTHER SETTLED IN A WOMEN'S SHELTER
It was learned that Bakiye Y., who allegedly suffered violence from the person she lived with and who is claimed to be the biological father of Sıla Y., obtained a restraining order from the court she applied to, followed by a protection order, and was subsequently placed in a women's shelter by the directorate. It was also revealed that Bakiye Y., who stayed in the shelter for 1 day and left voluntarily, received financial support for her child.
