Afterwards, the plaintiffs were given the floor. First, Saniye Ateş, the mother of Ateş, was heard. Ateş, who has been saying that he has "died and come back to life" for 18 months, said, "I am a living dead, but I have died 22 more times in the past 4 days here. I have died so much that it seems like everyone is innocent, and my son shot himself."

Ateş stated that her son came to her and said, "Mother, they broke my pen, they are going to assassinate me." She said, "One day, he came to visit me wearing a bulletproof vest. When I asked him why he was wearing a bulletproof vest, he said, 'Mother, they pulled my strings, but maybe they won't allow this.' After the Çağrı Ünel incident, a phone call came. The brother of the deceased child called and threatened my son. He said, 'Your blood is not in my hands. You should ask Olcay Kılavuz, Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım, Semih Yalçın, İzzet Ulvi Yönter.' Then he turned around and said, 'Mother, what should I do now, what should I say to them?' I said, 'Son, go tell this to Devlet Bahçeli.'
