In reports shared by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, it was revealed that Köfteci Yusuf had served pork to customers. Although the restaurant claimed that the ministry made a mistake in sample collection and that there is absolutely no pork in any of their products, they are experiencing a significant decline in customer numbers. Footage recorded yesterday at some of Köfteci Yusuf's branches in Istanbul also highlighted the situation, showing that even during peak hours, the upper floors were closed for service.

The list of counterfeit and adulterated foods regularly published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has revealed that Köfteci Yusuf, which fed citizens pork, is going through tough times.

THEY BLAMED THE MINISTRY IN THE PORK SCANDAL

In a statement regarding the 'pork' scandal from Köfteci Yusuf, it was stated that many technical errors were made during the sampling process and that no pork was ever used in their products. It was also expressed that the negative analysis results were reported late in a manner contrary to normal procedures, and that they could not provide traceability to the necessary extent.

A video taken at the Köfteci Yusuf branch in Avcılar showed that the place was empty. At the Köfteci Yusuf branch in Kadıköy, it was observed that even during the end of working hours, the upper floor was closed for service, and more than half of the tables in the lower floor, which had a limited number of tables, were also empty.
