Moreover, it was stated that the photos published for the first time belong to Erdoğan Parlak, who served as a second lieutenant in the 39th Mechanized Infantry Brigade Command during the Cyprus Peace Operation.
It was reported that Cyprus Veteran Parlak delivered the photos he took with his own camera to the Press and Public Relations Consultancy of the Ministry of National Defense on June 17, 2025, considering them to have archival value, and transferred the usage rights to the MSB.
