At least 107 people have lost their lives due to a stampede that occurred during a festival in the Uttar Pradesh state of India.

During the mass prayer event called "satsang" held in the Sikandara Rau town of Hathras district in the Uttar Pradesh state of India, a stampede occurred. In this horrifying incident, 87 people lost their lives.

Dr. Umesh Kumar Tripathi, an official from the Etah district, stated in his statement, "We lost 87 of our people in the stampede. Some of the injured were taken to hospitals."

CHILDREN ARE AMONG THE DECEASED
