President Erdoğan returned to Istanbul from Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan in Russia, where he attended the BRICS Summit, to hold a security meeting. The meeting at the State Guesthouse of Atatürk Airport was attended by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, Chief of General Staff General Metin Gürak, MIT President İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Communication Director Fahrettin Altun, President of the Defense Industry Agency (SSB) Haluk Görgün, Presidential Foreign Policy and Security Chief Advisor Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and AK Party Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik. It was reported that the meeting addressed the terrorist attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) campus in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara and issues related to the fight against terrorism. "THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TERRORIST STATE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED"During the security meeting chaired by President Erdoğan, the steps taken and to be taken regarding the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ and the fight against terrorism were discussed. In a written statement made after the summit, it was stated, "Efforts will continue for a terrorism-free Turkey. The establishment of a terrorist state will not be allowed."
